Unlock FREEDOM

Could the FREEDOM trials help your patients find a future free from immunosuppression?

As you are aware, kidney transplant recipients depend on daily, life-long immunosuppressive medicines that are burdensome to both them and their caregivers, significantly disrupting their everyday lives.

Additionally, immunosuppressive medicines do not prevent chronic rejection or chronic allograft nephropathy and they carry the risk of infection, cancer, neurotoxicity, and other health complications that may affect the longevity of a newly transplanted kidney, including:

  • Nephrotoxicity
  • Diabetes
  • Cardiovascular disease

Help your patients on their path to find FREEDOM

The goal of this research is to help determine if a living donor kidney transplant and a stem cell transplant therapy could treat transplant recipients without needing immunosuppression.
